And it wasn't that long ago, in order to take advantage of this mode of vacation, we had to give up a hefty portion of our savings. But, thanks to a growing economy and an increase in demand prices have fallen to record levels. No longer do we have to pay more for a cruise vacation than we would for a land based one. Land based vacations are nice but what happens when night comes? The search begins.
Where do we eat? How much will it cost?
Where do we go after we eat? How much will it cost?
How do we get there? How much will it cost?
With a cruise we don't have to ask these questions
Where do we eat? How much will it cost?
This is probably the most appealing benefit of cruising. Your day starts off with a full course breakfast in your assigned dining room or if you prefer you can have a buffet style breakfast outdoors on the ships deck. Then at about 11:00am the buffet style lunch begins. You can have lunch on deck in your bathing suit for a casual afternoon in the sun. But what if you want a full course lunch served by attentive and doting waiters? No problem, just put on a pair of shorts and head to the dining room for another full course meal (many cruisers have been known to eat both lunches). Hey, that's OK, you're on VACATION!
Hungry again? Afternoon snacks of cakes, pastries, sandwiches, and other treats come out by mid-afternoon. You'll love these afternoon tea times. After all, you need a little something to hold you until dinner.
Did I say dinner? Now let me tell you about dinner. Dinner is served in your dining room with your assigned waiter and busboy. Their job is to make sure that your dining experience is a remarkable event. Full course dining with several choices of entries are offered every evening. Not sure what to choose? Ask your waiter for a double entry, but let me warn you, you may get more than you bargained for. Portions are quite complete and we have to save room for the MID-NIGHT BUFFET!
That's right. It's time to eat again. The mid-night buffet is an extravaganza that will last an hour or more. Tables and tables of delicious gourmet foods and snacks are offered for you to pleasure your palette. And if you think this is great, wait until the night of the GALA MID-NIGHT BUFFET. I'll let you experience this one on your own.
Oh, by the way, the cost is included in the price of your cruise.
Where do we go after we eat? How much will it cost?
Now what do we do after that delicious dinner? How about going to see a Broadway quality show, or a Comedy Club act, or maybe a Crooner or Diva lounge act, or singing along at a Piano Bar. These are just a few of the entertainments offered for your evening pleasures. Of course there are card games, ship tours, sports games, poolside antics, etc.,etc., offered throughout the day. But, the night time shows will leave you smiling and laughing as you make your way to the DISCO! Want to work off dinner and the mid-night buffet? Then try out the disco. It's a great place to dance to the music as the DJ turns up the volume and the feet get going. Come on now, it's only 1:00am and things are just getting started. We'll sleep on the deck tomorrow. Too tired? It's OK, maybe a nice evening in a quiet lounge with a Quartet playing beautiful melodies is what's called for. The choice is yours, tonight and every night. After all you're on VACATION.
Oh, by the way, the cost is included in the price of your cruise.
How do we get there? How much will it cost?
Oh yea, I forgot to mention that all this entertainment is onboard the ship. No looking in flyers or asking cabbies where to go. No cabs to take means no cab fares. No walking around late at night looking for a cab or worse yet walking back to your hotel. And what about getting to great Ports of Call. You're not stuck in one hotel on a single island. You're going to see more than that and guess what?
Transportation to these ports is included in the price of your cruise.
Now, why a group cruise?
A group cruise affords the vacationing family a means to join family and friends for a truly special vacation. But, that is not all, on a Kahuna Cruises Group Cruise you can have the opportunity to meet new friends as well as joining some old ones in the greatest vacation there is. Cruising with a group gives you an opportunity to meet someone with similar interests. You never have to worry about sitting alone, wondering what to do. There is always someone to talk to, to do things with, or maybe just someone to say hello to. Many of our cruise family have cruised with friends that they have made on previous cruises.
What if I want to be alone?
The nicest part of being with a group is that you can be alone with a book, or find someone to take that sailing trip with you. Remember those vacations to the shore or perhaps to a Caribbean island? It felt so good to sit on the beach and take in the sun. No problems or day to day hassles biting at our feet (maybe a little hot sand instead). Wasn't that great? But, would it not have been nice to see a friendly face? Just to know that you're not alone in a strange land. But of course, with a cruise you're never in a land of strangers because you'll always see familiar faces in the crowd.
You see, whether you're on a cruise with a group or by yourself, the cruise experience is a friendship in of itself. When you disembark at island ports the friendly, smiling, and familiar faces of fellow passengers and crew members will always be close by.....when you want them to be!
